Chasing thunderstorms for the past eighteen years has taken us to some interesting places. Interesting in the, "We're OK, we already killed Jason, he couldn't possibly harm us now," kind of way. As storm chasers, we are often accused of being adrenaline freaks. That may well be true. Another much unadvertised truth is that much of the adrenaline rush comes from associated non-weather encounters. Now, photographers are often just story tellers who use pictures instead of words. The story behind the image is often lost, however. When we exhibit our work, we find that the audience enjoys hearing the associated background details, almost as much as viewing the images themselves. So, web browsers, we've included a few of our small adventures here, so you can appreciate the real dangers of chasing lightning storms. Don't forget, ALL MATERIALS, WRITTEN AND IMAGE, INCLUDING THESE ANECDOTES, ARE COPYRIGHTED. So read and enjoy, but please don't rip us off. Remember, unless otherwise stated in specific areas of these web pages, no reproduction in any form is allowed without our prior written consent. After all, do you really want a group of adrenaline rushed guys who are willing to risk the All Mighty's lightning bolt throwing wrath chasing after you for intellectual rights infringement? Enough said, go and enjoy.
